me and some friends after hunting aliens...

I love rts games.  Real time strategy.  Those nerdy games where you gather resources and then build an army and then have your army fight their army.  Seriously it is awesome.  Meagan and I were at Wal-Mart last night (tv shopping…so close!) and I saw the box for starcraft and it was compatible with mac os!  

So being the nerd I am and having given up most of my gaming online when I started dating meagan I asked if I could purchase this treasure chest of memories and go home to soak in my nerd soup on the couch with the battery of my cpu warming my thighs and my blood shot eyes begging for visine.  

Meagan and I went home and plugged in a movie (it has a news guy on it and his friend Brick has a hand grenade!)  ”There were guys on horses, a man on fire, and I killed a guy!” Anyway we were enjoying some light hearted laughter, but I was installing my rediscovered happiness and beginning to slaughter hundreds of aliens, just like when I was in jr. high.

During this it was raining and we listened to the sound of the water falling thousands of feet through the air to softly caress the window of our apartment, meagan would smile and I would blow up an entire alien base.  Well our movie ended and meagan went to bed and I told her I wouldn’t be up too much longer (I think I was only up another 45 minutes…) and then I went to bed.  

Meagan and I then proceeded to talk until two thirty when I realized she probably needed to sleep since she had school in the morning and I needed to go to church.  We were talking about jesus and why I don’t agree with penal substitution theory and then meagan was asking questions and we were having such a good time (cause thats what you do when you are married, you have a good time in bed, talking).  Finally I told her we had to go to sleep and now she is at school and I am at church…and I miss her.
